Would of been a fine day to be back in Ol Blighty today. Waking up and missing it all was rather lame but seeing all the pictures of our future king and queen and the crowds of people waving flags and busting Royal masks made me smile. England is looking it's finest on this Beautiful sunny day it makes me realize how Proud i am to be English.

Godzilla Sighting @ the Blue

4/20 Bash Santa Cruz

The first sighting of Godzilla this year and it was a good one!
Some Crazy's were lurking about.. Some chick in thigh highs at one point looked like she was about to curl one out on the dance floor while a dude all in Camo with a glow stick was quick to strip down n bust some mad shapes. He was stoked about 4/20 for sho.. Shit i wish i had what he was taking!

While walking home up Hyde St i seen the local legless midget ( literally legless) in his wheel chair he was talking to another local hobo when i over heard him say " Hey MAN.. Can you push me across the street to that house???? i got some Fat Bitch over there i'm about to go F*ck" hahahahahahahahhahahaahaa Friday night madness in thee ol TL cracks me up!!!

So i left the whisky Tavern with no joy of a taxi ride, I stood on the street corner like some washed up drunk in need of help.. i started stumbling up the road when a peeps carrier stopped and told me to get in... 2 crazy old hounds barked in my face and a voice asked me where i was going and that girls shouldn't roll around these parts on ones own as the night and it's mischief isn't good for young girls.

When i asked the large man if he could drop me anywhere near the TL??? He looked at me ashamed but dropped me off on the corner of eddy any how.. I asked his name?? he said in deep mans voice it was Jane and the lady next to him/her was the girl friend Alixes... I laughed gave the hairy faced man a nod and cuddled the girl friend on the way out... What a strange night tonight was!

What a lovely day to do lunch with a fabulous view and good company. Was rather jelly when ol Winky told me she had gone here for lunch once upon a blue moon ago. So when Maz picked me up this avo and said would i like to go i was full of excitement.

What Maz Had - Asparagus Soup with snow crab,meyer lemon and piquillo pepper



What i had - Braised Mussels with Home made Harissa, caramelized onions, anchor steam beer and grilled garlic-herb bread



Loved Loved it... Sunshine, pals and good food what more do you need on a Lazy Friday afternoon.

Main - Pan fried cajan salmon, fingerling potatos tossed in olive oil,sea salt and oregano surved wth a pear and mozzarella salad.

Desert - Non

Come Dine with me Round One

It's funny when your married, i forget most of the time i am.. with Grim and i working opposite shifts where like ships in the night, we get to spend two nights a week together so lately now all the free lowders have left and we actually have an empty house we've started playing Come Dine with me.. I came across this Tv show back in Blighty in the Summer and loved it..

For anyone who doesn't know about the TV show Come Dine With Me, it's a reality style show that involves competitive entertaining, If you aren't aware of the term competitive entertaining, it's when a group of people host dinner parties on different nights and get scored for their efforts (or lack of!). In our case who ever at the end of the month has the least points has to take the other out for a meal of his/her choose.

Round one - Grim master flash

Starter - Chinese Shrimp Salad.



Red cabbage, carrot, scallions, Mandarin orange and bay prawns and toasted almonds and walnuts.

Main - Home made Shrimp dumplings on a bed of white rice, fried tofu and broc.



Desert - Non

Scored - 7 points.
The salad was insane amazing 4 points
The main 3 points for the homemade never before dumplings that turned out more like pot stickers and the tofu that tasted rad.. All in all tasted good but needed more flavor as a whole.
The desert 0 points due to not having one (must be a fat bastard) haha
Presentation 0 as i had to set the table
Entertainment 1 as he put on True Romance while he was cooking... Great Film!
